Our quilting group meets every Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. – Noon. Our group started in 1996 with about 20 people. Our own pastor Ray Fenton, helped to promote us. We began by giving our quilts to the homeless and those in need. Since 1996 we have made 4,700 quilts, the record amount made in one day is 8 quilts. We work from September and finish in June, same as the school year. God has been very good to us, all of our fabric and yarn have been donated to us by several businesses, individual donors and churches. We invite others to join us, whether you sew or not.
On Wednesday evenings at 6:00 P.M. we have a fellowship supper 11 months of the year (with August off), from soup suppers for Lent to first Sunday potlucks, these are times of good food, and good fellowship.
Our book club meets on the fourth Saturday of the month at 10:00 A.M. Here is a chance to meet members and enjoy reading and discussing a good book.
Our craft group meets the second Saturday from 10:30 A.M. until Noon. Craft group is a great opportunity to learn new crafting skills, make a project to take home and contribute to the mission of Peace Church. Our biggest project was fleece blanket tying for Gillette Children’s hospital.
